On 19 January at 9h, the Science Po Centre for European and Comparative Studies, in partnership with the Désinfox-Migrations association and the Science Po Centre for International Relations Studies, will be holding a round-table discussion entitled: “Telling the story of migration at the Italian, French and English borders“.
How do the media report on the various forms of border crossing, by land and sea, and what are the differences between Italy, France and the United Kingdom? What are the logics at work in the selection and processing of information about border crossings compared with that about migration in general?
Investigative journalists Thomas Satius and Maël Galisson will share their experience and discuss with BRIDGES researchers Ferrucio Pastore and Virginie Guiraudon. We will be looking at border crossings in Italy, France and the UK.
The event will be online and conducted in French. You can find all the information and register here.
