Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), as a partner to the H2020 BRIDGES project, is looking for a Junior Post-Doctoral Researcher in Social Psychology and Media Psychology to join professors Veronica Benet-Martinez and Juan-Jose Igartua in their research efforts under BRIDGES Work Package 5. This WP investigates with behavioural methods and experimental methodology the conditions that make some migration narratives more successful or compelling than others in shaping individual attitudes, beliefs, and opinions towards migration.
Suitable candidates should hold a PhD degree in Social Psychology, Media Psychology or in related area of Psychology. PhD in other Social Sciences might also be considered only if candidate has also demonstrated experience in both experimental and survey research methods, and social psychological projects. The tasks foreseen under this call include programming of online experiments, coordination of all research aspects with external data collection company; statistical analysis of experimental and survey data; generating manuscripts for publication; giving presentations at academic and professional meetings; and miscellaneous project-related tasks.
The candidate will work 25 hours per week, for a duration of 12 months starting September 1, 2022, with a gross salary of 22.494,06 € per year (including Social Security benefits) depending on qualifications and experience.
